BMC Recruitment 2018 Stating Soon
Mumbai: For the post of 1388 workers of the 4th rank of BMC, who have been rescued for the past several months, the path to the examination was made open. The state government has shown the green flag for the results of this examination. After this, municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta has given instructions to the General Administration Department to start the recruitment process. Accordingly, the process has started. The final result for the test will be announced by September 15.
90% marks for 1500 candidates
Applications for online posts like workers, cell attendants, workers, hamal , aaya and cemetery workers etc. were made by the decision of recruitment of 1388 workers directly through the service. A total of 2, 87 thousand candidates applied for this. But two lakh 42 thousand candidates were sitting in the examination. But 1 lakh 6 thousand 193 candidates had passed from the candidates. There was a need for 50 marks to pass the examination. Therefore, all these candidates have passed by getting 50 marks and above marks. In this, 1500 candidates have passed 90% marks.
The issue of the test is in the Legislative Council
While the recruitment process was in progress, BJP MLA Bhai Girkar raised voice in the Legislative Council and read the questions asked in the examination. The questions which were asked in the exams can not be answered by 12th standard children. So he demanded to cancel the recruitment. Therefore, the recruitment process was adjourned. About this, the state government has sent a letter to the municipal corporation ten days ago to initiate the process. Subsequently, municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta directed the general administration department to do this.
