India Post Recruitment 2021 GDS : India Post, West Bengal has extended the last date to apply for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) vacancies. The online application process of West Bengal Post Office Recruitment 2021 will close on 19th August 22. “West Bengal Circle submission of online application is extended up to 22.08.2021 for those candidates who have already registered and not submitted a final application,” read the official notice.

Stage 1. Registration Initially candidate has to register in the Registration module once per cycle and obtain unique registration number
Stage 2. Fee Payment UR/OBC/EWS Male/Trans-man need to make fee payment. In Case of online payment, if no confirmation is received after the deduction of amount from candidate’s bank account, candidates can await upto 72 Hours for settlement.
Offline payments can be made at any Head Post Office. List of Post Offices
Stage 3. Apply Online
Step 1 . Fill Application.
Step 2 . Upload documents.
Step 3 . Submit Post preferences. Preview and take print out. Completion of these three steps will only be treated as submission of application.
Application submission :
Only online application will be accepted from the candidate. Candidate who desires to apply online will have to register himself / herself in the portal through https://indiapost.gov.in or https://appost.in/gdsonline with effect from 20.07.2021 to 22.08.2021 with the following basic
details to obtain the Registration Number:-
i) Name (In capital letter as per X class certificate Marks Memo including spaces)
ii) Father Name
iii) Mobile Number (Unique for one Registration number)
iv) Date of Birth
v) Gender
vi) Community
vii) PH – Type of Disability – (HH/OH/VH)- Percentage of disability
viii) State in which Xth class passed
ix) Board in which Xth class passed
x) Year of Passing Xth class
xi) Xth Class Certificate Number / Roll Number (optional)
xii) Transgender certificate issued by District Magistrate as per THE TRANSGENDER PERSONS (PROTECTION OF RIGHTS) ACT,2019.
Fee Payment
Applicant of category OC/OBC/EWS Male / trans-man should pay a fee of Rs. 100/-
(Rupees one hundred) for each set of five options. Candidate who requires to make the
payment has to visit any Head Post Office or other identified Post Offices in India. Names of the offices are available in the website http://appost.in/gdsonline.
