Jammu University B.Ed Admission Registration 2021 : Jammu University B.Ed Admission 2021 registration start , April 24, 2021. Candidate can check the details on the official notice given below.The University of Jammu will started the registration process for Jammu University B.Ed Admission 2021 on Saturday, April 24, 2021. The last date to apply for the B.Ed program through distance mode admission is till May 3, 2021. Online applications on prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the B.Ed programme through distance mode for academic session 2020-22 Application form will be available on website www.distanceeducationju.in from 24 April 20210 to 03 May 2021 along with detailed information about the admission process

B.Ed Programme : The Programme Structure for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme in the Directorate of Distance Education shall extend over a period of two academic years (04 Semesters). The Bachelor of Education Programme(B.Ed.) aims at preparing in-service teachers for secondary stage of education, in accordance with the
notifications of the NCTE with regard to minimum qualifications for recruitment as a teacher. The Programme shall use blended learning modality for design, development and delivery of the programme.
Eligibility: Admission to B.Ed. Programme in the Directorate shall be open to candidates:
i) who are trained in-service teachers in elementary education with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) and/or Master’s Degree in humanities/ sciences/social sciences/ commerce with minimum 50% marks or degree in engineering/technology with specialization in science and mathematics with minimum 55% marks.
ii) who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-toface mode with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) and/or Master’s Degree in humanities/ sciences/social sciences/ commerce with minimum 50% marks or degree in engineering/technology
with specialization in science and mathematics with minimum 55% marks.
Admission Fee: Admission Fee for the session 2020-22 is Rs 32380. In addition to the mentioned fee the candidates are required to deposit the following fee in the directorate as the case may be :
a) Registration Fee Rs 360/- for the candidates not already registered with the University of Jammu
b) Eligibility Fee Rs 880/- for candidates migrating from other universities
c) Revival of Registration Fee Rs 500/- if migration certificate is surrendered
d) Revival Fee Rs 1380/-
Mode and procedure of Admission: The admission to two year B.Ed. Programme (04 Semesters) shall be made on the basis of merit of the candidate. Admission shall be made through Counselling on the basis of properly filled in forms. Incomplete forms shall be rejected. The Counselling schedule shall be notified separately. No separate invitation for Counselling shall be sent individually to the candidates. The candidates have to be present personally at the time of Counselling.

3. Fill in the Admission Form Online at www.distanceeducationju.in
4. The name should be filled in BLOCK LETTERS and should be the same as given in the certificate of the last examination passed.
5. Scan photograph and signature and upload those.
6. Click the submit button after filling in the application form online

|7. The applicant will come to know about the serial number of his /her application form once he/she clicks the ‘submit’ button after filling in the form online. Please note down this “Serial Number” as it is required for further correspondence and queries.|
|8. Print two copies of the filled in form (one for the personal record of the candidate for further use and one to be brought at the counseling –cum –admission as and when asked for).|
|9. Admission form incomplete in any respect shall be rejected .The Directorate of Distance Education shall not enter into any correspondence in this regard. Seeking admission on the basis of false identity, misrepresentation by submitting false certificates / documents or suppression of any material fact is unlawful and will result in cancellation of admission.|
|10. The selected candidates when called for counseling shall have to pay the fee-Rs. 32380/- including the cost of prospectus through online mode using any bank debit card/credit card/ internet banking. In addition to the fee mentioned above, the candidates are required to deposit the registration fee, eligibility fee, revival of registration if migration certificate is surrendered and revival fee as applicable.|
|11. The candidate must bring all the original documents at the time of counseling –cum – admission.|
|12. In view of rampant reports of fake certificates and fake universities, the University reserves the right of screening applications of applicants who have obtained their qualifying degrees from Universities other than University of Jammu and evaluating their competence before considering them for admission in a manner as decided by University / Directorate from time to time.|
|13. In pursuance of the decision taken by the Standing Committee of the Academic Council at its meeting held on 5th September 2005 vide notification No.FACD/V/128/05/6368-6517 dated 05/10/2005, any course run by the study centers/franchises of any University in the country except IGNOU is not recognized. However, as notified by the University of Jammu Vide notification No. F. Acd/lll/13/93629521 dated 22. 10. 2013, degrees obtained by the candidates through study centers of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) are recognised provided the study centers are functioning strictly under the control of the MANUU as per rules and regulations of the University / UGC.|
|14. Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right.|
|15.Only application forms registered online shall be accepted.|

|17. A candidate shall not be allowed to make any change in his/her on-line Application Form, by way of addition, deletion or alteration, once it has been finally submitted on the website.|
|18. Candidates holding Bachelor’s Degree of One sitting Programme are not eligible for admission to the programme|
