I am extremely delighted that the Directorate of Technical Education is going to publish its Newsletter to create a common platform for exchanging information amongst technical education institutes. This Newsletter will be of great help to all Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Management and Hotel Management Institutes in Maharashtra. Technical Education plays a major role in the development of a country. The State Government is implementing various quality improvement schemes & projects for technical education through DTE. DTE is continuously making a great contribution towards improvement in the field of Technical Education in Maharashtra. The major endeavor of this DTE Newsletter will be to keep the students, parents and the leaders of industry informed about latest trends in the field of technical education and to create awareness about the newly arising needs of the society and market forces. Newsletter will also help in enhancing industry-institute interaction. “Vision without action is a daydream, Action without vision is a nightmare.” (Japanese Proverb) and “Craft the life you would be most proud to live.” (Adam Braun)…… Let such thoughts reach to our precious learners through this Newsletter, which will lay the foundation for complete personality development of our students. It should also aim at bridging the gap between urban and rural students so as to build confidence among them. I convey my best wishes to DTE for launching this initiative to promote exchange of news & views among technical education fraternity.
