In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015 (Mah. XXVIII of 2016), the Government of Maharashtra has notified the rules ‘the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions to the Full Time Professional Undergraduate Technical Courses) Rules, 2016’ to regulate the admissions to the First and Direct Second Year of Full Time Professional Undergraduate Technical Courses (Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, Pharm D., Architecture, Hotel Management and Catering Technology). These rules are also applicable for admissions in Government and Government Aided institutions vide Government Resolution of Higher & Technical Education Department No. TEM-2016/CR 536/TE-4 Dated 15th March 2016.
This notification is being issued for Online Registration, Documents Verification and Application Form Confirmation at Facilitation Centers (FC) by candidates aspiring for admissions to First Year of Full Time Under Graduate Courses in Engineering and Technology (B. E. / B. Tech) in the Government, Government Aided, University Managed, University Departments, ICT Mumbai and Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions for the Academic Year 2016-17 in the Maharashtra State. The Director, Technical Education shall act as a Nodal Officer to carry out the admissions under the supervision & control of the Competent Authority.
Aspiring candidates are hereby informed to read the aforesaid Act and Rules published on http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/fe2016.
