GATE Result  2024 : The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, has been released the GATE 2024 Result March 16, 2024. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering results can be checked on the official website of IISC GATE at

The GATE 2024 examination was conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024. The candidates’ responses were released on February 16, and the answer key was published on February 19, 2024. The last date to raise objection against the answer key was till February 25, 2024.

The results will be announced on March 16, and the scorecard will be available for candidates to download in on March 23, 2024.

How to Download GATE result 2024

  1. Go to the official website of IISC GATE at
  2. Click on the GATE Result 2024 link available on the home page.
  3. A new page will open where candidates must enter the required details.
  4. Click on submit, and the result will be displayed.
  5. Check the result and download the page.
  6. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
GATE Result 2024 : The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will declare the results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) today i.e. on 16 March. After the results are out, those candidates who appeared in the exams can check their scores on the official website at It is important to note that only the results will be out today and candidates can download the score cards from 23 March. The GATE 2024 exams were held between February 3 and February 11.


Before filing an application, candidates are advised to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for GATE 2024.
Candidates who are currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or who have completed any government approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2024.

Some Professional Societies/Institutions, which conduct examination in various fields of engineering, are given below.

  • The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE)
  • The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
  • The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE)
  • The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI)
  • The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChE)
  • The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM)
  • The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIIE)

Candidates who possess certification from any such professional societies must ensure that those examinations are approved by MoE/AICTE/UGC/ UPSC as being equivalent to B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Arch./ B.Planning, etc.

Candidates who have obtained/are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India: Candidates must be currently in the 3rd or higher years or must have completed their Bachelor’s degree (of at least three years duration) in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ Humanities.

Any candidate fulfilling the above-mentioned criteria is eligible to appear for GATE 2024.

  • Candidates pursuing any higher degree or in possession of a degree higher than that mentioned in the table below, will be allowed to appear for GATE 2024.
  • Candidates with B.Sc./B.A./B.Com. degrees (3-year program) desirous of seeking admission to Masters programs in IITs and IISc may refer to JAM 2024.

2: On the main site, go to ‘Candidate Login’ section

3: As the new page opens, enter your Enrollment ID / Email Address and password. Then click on submit.

4: The GATE 2024 result will appear on the screen. Check and download it
