NER Sports Quota Recruitment 2022 : North Eastern Railway has invited applications from candidates to apply for posts against sports quota. The registration process will begin on March 26 and will end on April 25, 2022. Age Criteria
The candidate age limit is 18 years to 25 years as of 1st July 2022. No relaxation will be given to the students.
Application fee
SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/ PWD/Women/Minority/ EWS: 250 INR
All other candidates: 500 INR
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have cleared 10+2 from a recognized university for posts that have Grade pay of 1900/2000 INR
- The candidate must have cleared 10+2 in Science from a recognized university for posts that have Grade pay of 2400 INR
- For Grade pay of 2800 candidates must have acquired a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Athletics
- Medal winner in National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championship: Grade Pay 1900/2000 INR, pay band of 5200-20200 INR
- Gold Medal winner open National Championship Inter-State Athletics Championships: GP 2400/2800 INR
Cricket (Men)
- Represented India in U-19 in 2 test matches/ 2 limited over one day International matches/ 2 Twenty -20 overs matches: GP 2400/2800 INR
- Quarter-Finalist in U-23/U-19 in All India State Elite Group Championship and all India Inter-State Championships/Participants in Senior U-23/U-19 All India Senior Inter-Zonal Championship: GP 1900/2000 INR
