Rajasthan Board (RBSE) Postpones Class 10, 12 Examination 2021 due to Covid-19
Rajasthan Board 10th 12th exam 2021 Postpones : Rajasthan Board (RBSE) Class 10 and 12 exams have been postponed in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said today. The decision cam soon after CBSE’s decision to cancel Class 10 board exams and postpone Class 12 exams. After CBSE announced the cancellation of the CBSE Class 10 examination 2021, the Rajasthan Government on Wednesday announced that the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations will be postponed. Owing to the soaring covid cases in the state, the Rajasthan government postponed the examinations. The board has also said that the Class 8, 9 and 11 students will be promoted.
Students of Class 10 to be promoted on basis of internal assessment. If a student is not satisfied with the assessment then he/she can appear for the examination once the situation is normal, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said earlier in the day.
Rajasthan schools closed: Official notice
- According to the official notice issued by Rajasthan Government, “Summer vacations from April 22 to May 6, 2021, for all the state and private schools”.
- Earlier the state government had imposed a 15-day lockdown and announced the closure of all educational institutions till May 3, 2021.
- The Rajasthan Government took the decision to contain the spread and curb the effect of Covid-19 infections among the students and teachers.
