The fate of many banking aspirants will take a leap forward when the result of SBI PO preliminary exam 2016 will be declared on 18th July. This preliminary exam was held for the recruitment of Probationary Officer (PO) in State Bank of India. There are around 2200 seats available this year for the post of PO.

Candidates who will clear the prelims exam will be eligible for the Mains exam of SBI PO Recruitment 2016. The Mains exam will carried out for  200 marks in which an additional section will be there as general awareness section and will be scheduled on 31st July 2016. There will be also a descriptive paper of 50 marks in which candidates will have to write an essay/letter. The result of Mains exam will be declared on August 16 as per the notification of SBI.
