MHTCET, JEE Admission 2016 -2016 Apply Online
The online registration for admission in engineering streams, have started from Thursday, June 2. The admissions will be done on MHT-CET marks. The registrations will continue till June 15 and the first merit list will be announced on June 22, informed joint director of Technical Education, Regional Office, Nagpur in a press conference on Thursday.
The students who appeared for MHT-CET and JEE will only be eligible for admission in the engineering stream. The students will have to register themselves with ‘Facility centre’. DTE has assigned 48 facilitation centres. The candidate will have to register themselves here and after the seat is allotted they will have to report to the reporting centre of the DTE.
Four Cap rounds Details MHTCET 2016
In the CAP round one the candidates will have options 300 colleges and suppose the the student does get the college of choice, the candidate stands eligible for the next round. Similarly, the candidates will get chance in the third round also and in the fourth round the candidate will get the option of changing the college allotted.
Students to benefit from new norms
Joint director of DTE said that the students will benefit from the new norms. They will not have the pressure to get admission in a particular college or stream. They will have the freedom to choose the college of their choice. They will have to report first to the admission reporting centre than go to the college.
